This all began with a group of mothers, fathers and doulas living in Thailand who were brought together by a shared interest in natural approaches to childbirth and parenting.
This site was born out of a few different impulses…
… to reach out and connect parents who have found themselves transplanted here
… to share stories and information about birth and new parenthood
… to root ourselves at least a little bit in the rich Thai culture around us
We are big fans of natural birth and breastfeeding, and you’ll see a lot of focus on these topics throughout the site, plus life in Thailand in general and anything else that strikes our fancy along the way.
We hope that you can take something away with you and that you’ll add your own voice back to the community in the comments, forums, or blog.

Would like to inquire if The Children’s Discovery Museum is still open.
We will be going on a family trip to Bangkok come June, 2011 and would want to include that in our itinerary. I haven’t found a lot of information about it in the internet. Would you recommend we go there? How about the Butterfly Garden and Insectarium near the Children’s Discovery Museum? Is it worth a visit?
