Get involved!

We’re a pretty informal crowd here, if you’ve got a good idea, we’re happy to help you run with it.

No meetings, no committees, just interested people touching base online and in person.

Some ideas to get you started:

  • Have a story to share? …Contribute a blog post.
  • Find yourself spending a lot of time on the forums? …Become a moderator.
  • Is there an activity you wish was happening in Bangkok? …Organize it, and we’ll help you spread the word.
  • Do you provide services related to birth, pregnancy, parenting, babies, or children? …Maybe you should be listed in our directory.

Really, we’re not a group, so much as different individuals pursuing their own passions and projects. This community is the collective result of each of our efforts – we’d love to add yours to the mix.

Contact us, or just drop by the Breastfeeding Cafe for a chat one Tuesday morning – one of us will be there.

    Hi girls
Love the parent vine now I have finally taken the time to have a good look. So, how do I add my doula details/info to the directory?

I am a bit of a dummy with techno so please guide me through this.

    Keep up the great effort

Hello! My wife and I live in Phuket, where we homeschool our daughter. I would LOVE to be a contributor on your site. I am passionate about parenting, childbirth, and alternative medicine and we hope our next child will be born VBAC either here in Phuket or in Bangkok. :)

    Hi

I’m a parent living in Yangon, Myanmar and I love your site! We found it very useful when we had our baby at Samitivej Hospital, Bangkok in January this year, and for finding activities for our toddler when we come for a shopping trip.

I would love to do something similar here. Would you be able to offer some advice?

    Many thanks

    Vicky and family

Thanks Vicky for the feedback! It’s always great to hear this site is useful, and I’d be happy to listen to any ideas or questions you have – will message you privately.

Hello, I am retiring and we are relocating to Bangna, Thailand. We have two children and the prices for private schools in Thailand are absurd, and questionable to say the least. I am educational administration and supervision qualified individual with degrees in such. I plan on home-schooling my two children (5 and 9) and want to enquire if there requirements for this prior to arriving around the November 2012 time.
