Laura Perry
Laura moved to Bangkok in 2004 with her husband Stewart and then infant son. Before leaving her home in the US, she worked in the field of international education for seven years, but was delighted to put her career on hold to become an at-home mom for Jake now age 7, and Bangkok-born Anna, who is 4. Laura has a Master’s degree in International Communication with emphasis on cross-cultural communication and she appreciates the joys and challenges of raising Third Culture Kids. She enjoys traveling and experiencing Thailand’s rich culture with her children.

My son loves a boat ride any day, but for a special treat we head to Wat Prayoon on the Thonburi side of the river. This is probably Jake’s favorite outing as it involves almost every mode of transportation possible, plus turtles.

I love spending time with my kids exploring fun places in Thailand. After spending most of the October mid-term break at the beach, I am looking ahead to how we will spend the December school break taking in different attractions. At the top of my list is Jim Thompson Farm.
